It was a wonderful event at Bindertwine park yesterday with MPP Stephen Lecce attending. Approx 40 Kleinburg Tennis Club members attended. MPP Lecce spoke for several minutes about the Trillium grant and the Trillium Foundation. James Boyce, CEO and President of the Ontario Tennis Association was in attendance and added his thanks and emphasized the importance of the Province and the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s support for development and growth of tennis in the province. MPP Lecce stayed for approx 30 minutes after formal remarks to chat with club members and have pictures taken.
A special thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for the generous grant given to the Kleinburg Tennis Club from the Resilient Communities Fund. This assisted the club in purchasing windscreens for the club, and operating a very successful 2022 season.
